Both Anna and Tamma got lost in the overflowing Krishna river

Two brothers were drowned in the Krishna river, and the family's grief has reached its peak.

The mishap occurred when Koppara went to take a bath near the Lakshminarasimha Swamy temple. Razak Mulla Usman (35) and Maulali Usman (30) of Koppara village in Devadurga taluk of Raichur district went to the banks of Krishna river on Tuesday evening with their family members.

While bathing in the river, he went to protect the girl and drowned her. It is said that one went to save the other and both got drowned.

The fire brigade and SDRF team reached the spot and are conducting an investigation.
